Abrah industries Limited is a company limited by shares dealing in food processing and value addition to farm produce which was founded in 2005 by Mr. Mataya Richard who by then was operating a small retail shop before upgrading it to a whole sale shop in 2008 which later grew into a bigger shopping center with a bakery in the heart of Mbale, employing 250 professional and casual workers. Due to high levels of unemployment in our country among the youths, there was need to create employment, skill and empower the youths with skills through modern farming and life skill training among others. Amidst this there was still a problem of unemployment more among the youths and it's against this background that we decided to start up a factory, processing most of the farm products from large and small scale farmers. To achieve quality products for both children and adults, we do train, equip, empower farmers and monitor the process right from the farm to the factory storehouse then add value to every products by blending different food nutrients hence, meeting the needs of every group which creates more employment. There was also inefficiency in foods which help in building a strong immunity system and development of the brain for babies, expectant mothers, and people with diabetes and pressure who need special foods to boost their immunity without affecting their health.
